Some of the distinctions helping in effective learning and personality developing are given below;
As a matter of fact a good person is the one who equally gives value to his fellow beings and kith and kilns. But every relation has its own value. So with learning he should also properly manage his dealings and he should be value adding for everything. It means that he should be openhearted. Openhearted means that he should spread happiness and love. One can forget everything but the love given by anyone can never be forgotten. This love may be the respect, help, and happiness given to anybody. Doing anything to make someone happy is the actual love.
Discussion is a very helpful activity for learning knowledge more efficiently. If you don’t ask, you don’t get. This is exactly a fact that we can get nothing if we don’t question for what we don’t understand. Therefore a student should take an active part in such activities to improve his skills. He should participate in discussions.
A man is known by the company he keeps. Similarly a student’s personality is also comprehended by his friends. A good student has good friends. So he should make good friends after verifying their character. As half fate is in our own hand and half of it is in the hand of those, with whom we shake hand.
A student should also participate in extra activities like sports, games, different contests etc. These type of activities enhance their learning and practical skills and enable them to handle each situation through out their life.
A student is the name of punctuality, so he should be punctual and regular. He should have a time table and should manage his activities according to that. He should set weekly, monthly, yearly goals for the achievements and for other purposes.
He should take account of his flaws and good qualities. This may help him in withholding and improving his good qualities and getting rid of his bad qualities. And he also should eradicate his follies and drawbacks within a specific period of time in order to focus on learning.
